OK Cremation and Mortuary Services, LLC was founded in 2003 by Funeral Director Al McAffrey and former Medical Examiner Investigator G. Terry Felts to provide professional cremation and funeral services to the industry. In response to market demands for low cost but professional and dignified services by the public, our firm became a licensed full-services funeral home and crematory in order to serve the public from its modern multi-purpose facility at 2424 North Oklahoma Avenue.

In January 2008, after his 2006 election and a full year of service in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, Mr. McAffrey became sole owner of the business. In March new administrative and sales offices were opened to better serve the public in a more comfortable setting, at 2415 North Walnut Avenue, just one block east of the crematory facility.

We are located just two blocks west of the State Capitol and just one-half block north of busy and recently beautified 23rd Street. We're on the southwest corner of Madison and Walnut. (Madison is a "half street" that runs between 23rd and 24th streets.) We're easy to find but because there's a median in the center of 23rd, eastbound traffic has to reach us via Santa Fe Avenue.

A spacious and well-appointed reception area features a service window that opens directly into the office manager's quarters for immediate and efficient help. Our comfortably furnished Family Consultation Room offers a relaxed atmosphere and displays of our large urn selection. Across the hall is our stateroom for private family viewings. Antiques and a pleasant mix of original art and fine art prints give these spaces a warm and refined atmosphere---comfortable but not pretentious.

Our friendly staff stands ready to help you and your family with both at-need services and pre-need planning. High-pressure sales tactics are forbidden at OK Cremation and Mortuary Services. We explain our options and pricing (listed on the website under "Services"), then let you decide what best meets your needs and budget.

Sometimes families and next-of-kin need to handle arrangements for their loved ones from outside Oklahoma City, and we're happy to accommodate. The three most essential forms that require next-of kin signatures are located here under the "Forms" Button. Simply download and print these, complete and sign, then fax them to us. After review, telephone consultation on these and related matters, and payment via credit or debit card over the phone, we can proceed with fulfilling your wishes. For a small additional fee we'll carefully package and ship cremated remains via Registered Priority U.S. Mail.
