Adam Price Free was born in Oklahoma City, OK, on April 23, 1977, to Mona Free and James Free. He passed away on July 23, 2019, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Adam graduated from N.W. Classen High School and studied history at the Oklahoma State University, and was on the dean’s list of distinguished students.
He worked for Cingular Wireless for many years, and currently was the owner-operator of Free Vending Enterprises, as well as a distributor for Peete’s Coffee and Adam’s Spices.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Free. He is survived by his mother, Mona Beck of Oklahoma City, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Adam was a caring, compassionate person, who established lifelong friendships with people from many different walks of life. He enjoyed riding his bike around Lake Hefner, playing tennis, and spending time with friends. Adam made at least five trips to the Rocky Mountain National Park where he enjoyed hiking trails, trout fishing, watching wildlife, and visiting Estes Park. He brought joy to all, with his wonderful sense of humor, was loved by many, and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service honoring Adam’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 10th, at All Nations Church of the Nazarene, (Formally, Penn Avenue Church of the Nazarene) 1121 N. Pennsylvania, Oklahoma City, OK with Harlan Buettner officiating.
