Alicia Verdell (Stokes) Chandler

Alicia Chandler, 49, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away May 26th, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Alicia was born in Berkeley, California on September 29th, 1972, to parents Richard Ralston and Diana Torrez. A devoted mother, Alicia dedicated her life to raising her 4 children.

Alicia was a faithful Christian who valued her family above all else. She selflessly cared for her Grandma Stokes, as well as her young nieces and nephews. She couldn’t help but spoil the animals in her life, especially her late chihuahua Izzy, and her “grand-puppies” and “grand-cats”. Alicia was a passionate fan of OU football and the music of Paul McCartney, and advocated for causes including justice reform, survivors of domestic violence, and awareness of rheumatoid arthritis.

She is survived by both parents; her partner of 12 years, Mark Eaton; her siblings Sofia Burch, Joshua Stokes, Reina Jackson, Elisha Stokes, & Cody Galloway; and her children, Alex, Kayla, Dakota, & Baylee Crego.

Alicia is proceeded in death by her grandmother Verdell Stokes.
