Anthony “Tony” Chandler a.k.a Salami, a.k.a Bubba of Moore, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the age of 54. He was born on January 20, 1964 in Oklahoma City. He was raised by his parents Orville and Gracie Chandler on the south side. Tony graduated from Western Heights High School in 1982, where he made lifelong friendships that he carried with him up to the day he passed. He worked for Hertz rental car as a vehicle maintenance tech up until he became sick. Bubba may have had some medical issues, but he didn’t let it stop him. He fought a hard and tedious battle for many, many years and did it with a smile or a wise-crack. Bubba was definitely a jokester that loved to make people laugh. He just wanted everyone to be happy. Bubba was a giver, not just in material things but always gave his time when someone needed a friend to talk to or needed some help in any other way. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and most of all friend. Bubba loved fishing, boating or anything that had to do with the outdoors. He loved his hot rod cars and his Chevy pickup trucks. He was a hard core OU Sooner and New England Patriots fan. He loved his football.
Tony is survived by his mother Gracie Chandler of OKC, his lifelong friend and love Cathy Good of Moore, OK, his 3 sisters Tresa Chandler of OKC and her love David Winters, Liz Butcher and husband Larry Butcher of Elgin, OK, and Vickie Sams and husband Darwin Sams of Yukon, OK.
