Beverly Ann (Factor) Butler

Beverly Ann Butler passed away February 14, 2022 surrounded by her family at the age of 68. Beverly was born November 14, 1953 to Henry and Delores Factor in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was the oldest of her six brothers and sisters. Beverly was raised in the Oklahoma City area and attended Capitol Hill High School where she met the love of her life Chiefy Butler (Charles Michael) in 1970. Beverly and Chiefy got married on September 12, 1971 and remained together for 51 years.  They had three children and then were later blessed with seven grandchildren.

Beverly worked for the Oklahoma City Public school system for a few years, and then changed directions to work for the Indian Health Service in the Finance Department. She served I.H.S for 27 years until medically retiring in 2014.  Beverly was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church serving as the Treasurer these last four years, as well as many other areas throughout her lifetime.

Beverly was very active in sports during her youth.  She loved supporting and watching her children then later her grandchildren as they played varsity sports in high school and at the collegiate level. She loved to travel, visiting many states within the U.S as well as outside of the country. She made sure to get her grandkids something everywhere she went, even if it meant almost missing the boat to leave.  Beverly was known for her excellent planning, organization skills, and always helping others. She loved to help plan our family gatherings, weddings, and parties for her family and friends. She was always the first one there and one of the last ones to leave whatever the celebration may be. Being surrounded by her family brought her so much joy and happiness. Every one of her family members and friends held a very special place in her heart.

Beverly is preceded in death by her father Henry, a baby brother David, both maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her mother Delores Factor, her siblings James Wallace Factor, Ted and Debra (Factor) Isham, Shirley (Factor) Hudson and Larry Dean and Chong Cha Factor, her children Steve and wife Kelly Factor, Thetath Butler, and Kerrie and her husband Dustin Hodge, her grandchildren Josie Tofpi, Alyssa Butler, Shelby and Lane Factor, Ty and Justin Tofpi, and Peyton Hodge.

A Wake Service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church, 2305 SE 15th Street, Oklahoma City, OK.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM Victory Baptist Church in Oklahoma City with Pastor Larry Factor officiating. Burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
