Emblem

Billy “Bill” Gene Gilpin, 67, of Agra, Oklahoma arrived home with Jesus on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

He was born on March 13, 1956 in Larned, Kansas and raised in Bakersfield, California. He loved spending time on the water and taking scenic road trips with his wife, Debbie. He was a character and always ready to share a smile, a joke, travel directions, and tips for the best deal on your next meal! He could outtalk anyone! To know him was to love him.

He and his bride, Debbie, were married for 19 years and planned to celebrate 20 years of marriage in June of this year.

Billy was reunited in Heaven with his beautiful wife, Debbie Gilpin, father, Jack Gilpin, stepmother, Bernice, and his grandparents, May and Elmer Gilpin. He is survived by his mother, Berney Gilpin of Clarence, IA, brother, David Gilpin of Agra, OK, sister, Roxie Carroll and husband, Kevin of Clarence, IA. He is also survived by his children - son, Michael Gilpin and wife, Shalanda of Ponca City, OK, son, JJ Wieczorek and wife, Brittany of Cushing, OK, son, Joseph Livergood and wife, Kristen of Lake Charles, LA, daughter, Laura Statos and husband, Kris of Shreveport, LA, and daughter, Sara Morgan of Gloster, LA. Billy was also survived by his 13 grandchildren - Daysha, Gabriel, Caleb, Chloe, Julian, Londyn, Logan, Makenna, Jace, Catelyn, Dominic, Fynn, and Embri Jo, which were his pride and joy and knew him as Papa/Papa Bill.

Billy will be deeply missed by them and his other family and friends, but they are comforted in knowing that he rededicated his life to the Lord last December and is now talking Jesus’ ear off in Paradise! Billy’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to his wonderful oncology team and multiple doctors and nurses.
