Blake Ryan Butcher aka Blakey of Elgin, OK went to be with the lord on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at the age of 34.
He was born on January 23, 1991 in Midwest City, OK on Tinker Airforce Base to his loving parents Larry and Liz Butcher. Blake graduated from Western Heights and was an electrician by trade Blakey had a deep love for the outdoors, finding peace and joy in fishing by the lake or spending hours at local rodeos. His love of football ran deep and he was always cheering for his favorite team the OU Sooners, the game was just another way for him to share laughter and create memories with those he loved most. Above all, Blakey was a devoted family man. His love for his children was boundless, and his embrace was a symbol of comfort and security—a hug from him could make the toughest day feel lighter. He had a rare gift of making everyone feel truly seen and cared for, and his family was the center of his world. A true tinkerer at heart, Blakey found satisfaction in working with his hands. Whether he was building something new, fixing something old, or helping others with their own projects, his creative spirit and eagerness to lend a hand were evident in everything he did. His hands were always busy, and it his heart was full of love, generosity, and warmth.
He is survived by the love of his life Hayley Walker of Oklahoma City, his children Taylor ,Brysen & Mia, his parents, Larry and Liz Butcher of Elgin, OK, Siblings Whitney Walsh and family of Rock Springs, WY, Brandon Butcher and family of Moore, OK , and other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandpa Chandler, grandpa and grandpa vitatoe, Uncle Tony.
