Brian Matthew Claunch

Brian Matthew Claunch, Purcell resident, passed away suddenly Thursday, August 18, 2022 in his home in Purcell at the age of 37.

Brian was born September 3, 1984 in Oklahoma City, OK to Beverly Jean (Kizer) and Charles Dean Claunch. Brian was a good person and loved life to the fullest. He loved OU football and would often watch with his brothers. Brian loved the Lord and was baptized in 2021. He loved his family and would do anything to help others.

Survivors include his mother, Beverly Funkhouse and step-father Steve of Purcell; sister, Angela Claunch of Purcell; brother, Stephen Yeary of Purcell; daughter, Sarah Belcher of Durant; aunts, Brenda Madden and Shirley Campbell of Purcell; uncles, Jeff Kizer of Moore, OK and Bill Claunch of Purcell; maternal grandparents, Dorene Elliott of Purcell and Leon Elliott of Checotah, OK and a host of other family and friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Yeary and paternal grandparents, Earl and Nadine Claunch and Charles Claunch.
