Carolyn Jeane Price was born Dec. 22, 1953 in Mountain Home Idaho the 5th of seven children to Jack David and Theda Margeret (Moore) Ladd.
She passed away on January 20, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 64. She was preceded in death by her parents; an older brother, Alan and an older sister, Hoberta.
Carolyn spent her early childhood in El Reno, OK where she attended Central Elementary School. She attended Jr. high and high school in Yukon. Carolyn later attended the University of Oklahoma.
As an adult Carolyn worked in the insurance industry where she met her closest friend, Vickie. The two of them remained the best of friends for nearly 40 years. Talking by phone every day until Carolyn’s death.
Carolyn never had children of her own, however she adored her nephews and nieces and their children as though they were her own.
The birth of a new child into the family was her greatest source of joy and happiness. As these children grew, she made sure they each knew how much she loved them and how proud she was of them and their accomplishments.
The majority of pictures of Carolyn are of her holding or interacting with the children she was so proud of.
She loved the lights and energy, the spectacle that is Las Vegas and visited frequently.
Carolyn’s later years were spent battling health issues that eventually took her, but through it all she carried herself with pride and dignity thankful to those who assisted her along the way.
