Charles Lindy DuFur, Jr.

Charles Lindy DuFur Jr., 69, was welcomed to his eternal home on February 8, 2024. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1954, he was the son of Charles “Blacky” DuFur and Katherine Zona Frizell. Lindy spent many years as a ranch hand, before settling in and enjoying his last years living with his daughter, and her family in Chickasha. He found joy in rooting on his OU Sooners, gardening, and watching his old western shows, but nothing made him happier than spending time with his children, grand children, great grandchildren and his grand-dog.

Lindy is survived by daughters, Leah DuFur- Payne of Ninnekah Oklahoma, Julie DuFur of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Denise ‘Neeci’ Castillo of Chickasha, Oklahoma, as well as numerous grand children
