Connie Lisenby

Loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend Connie Lisenby born Gail Conner Campbell, 81 passed away January 2, 2018.  A Tennessee native, Connie spent her adulthood as a dedicated military aviator’s wife, living in many parts of the country and exotic locales before retiring and settling in Oklahoma City in 1993 to be close to her mother and siblings.  She enjoyed painting, crafting, gardening, genealogy and   loved being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her but it is with acceptance because she is now dancing in the arms of the love of her life for eternity.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, retired Lt Col. Harvey Guy Lisenby.  She is remembered with great love by her sisters Nancy Roberts (Leonard), Marion Carter (Jim), both of OK and her brother Bob Campbell of TX, her sister in law Billie Jean Dougherty of AR, her four children Terri Morris of TX (Jerry), Donna Davis of KS (Bill), Tom Lisenby of KS (Cathy), Nancy Upshaw of TX (David), her nine grandchildren Alan Carr (Somer), Rhiannon Zerbe (Catina), Laura Lea Davis, Erica Hinrichs (Ben), Vanessa Heep (Jordan), Colin Lisenby, Taylor Hargrave, Suzan Lisenby and Henry Lisenby, her great grandchildren Madeline, Cole, Keegan, Azlyn, Dilyn, Miles, Shea and Henry and many cherished nieces, nephews and love ones.

Final arrangements will be handled by OK Creation and Funeral Home.  Memorial services will be held in the spring during Connie’s favorite season.  Date pending.
