Cristopher Pat Patterson

Cristopher Pat Patterson passed away August 15th, 2026, at the age of 57 years. He was born April 24th, 1969, in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended and graduated from Putnam City High School in 1987 before attending the University of Oklahoma, where he joined the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Here, he made many lifelong, steadfast friends, and one of these friends ultimately connected him to his job at Express Employment Professionals in information technology services. He worked at Express for 34 years, underscoring his character of commitment and loyalty.

He was known as Patty by many of his closest friends and family members. He deeply loved the outdoors. He was most in his element when fishing, hiking, and backpacking in the Rocky Mountains. His fall wardrobe consisted primarily of Crimson and Cream as he supported University of Oklahoma football. He was an avid competitor, athlete, and fierce friend. He was intentional and attentive and could make conversation and quick friends with anyone he met. He was a kind, loving father.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Patterson, and his mother, Glenda Lou Clanahan. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Traci Patterson McElyea and Douglas McElyea, his son and daughter-in-law, Carter Patterson and Carly Patterson, and his daughter and son-in-law, Rylie DeKinder and Colton DeKinder, and granddaughter, Lucille Patterson.
