Crystal Leigh (Faria) Taylor

Crystal Leigh Taylor of Wewoka, Oklahoma was born on November 6, 1984. She was the daughter of David Lee Faria and Laura Gail McDaniel. Crystal passed away from this life on February 8th, 2022 from a vehicle accident. She was 37 years old.

Crystal was native of Heavner, Oklahoma. She ran track, was a gymnast and loved to sing. In fact, she won several singing competitions. She also enjoyed fishing and tumbling with her daughters.  Crystal also liked to draw.

Crystal was a woman of many talents, but she deeply loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Crystal attended CNA school and her first job out of school was in Holdenville, OK. She later acquired here CMA and Phlebotomy licenses. Crystal didn’t stop there. While tending to her family, she put herself through LPN school and was the top of her class. She was a dedicated nurse who loved her job and the people she took care of.

She is survived by her husband Todd Taylor, children Summer Jones of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Cameron Jones, and Autum Jones, stepchildren Tori Mitchell of Seminole, Oklahoma, Kyah Taylor of Cleburne, Texas, Collin Taylor, and Gracie Taylor, grandchildren Emil Taylor and Julius Taylor of Germany, Easton Mitchell, and Oaklynn Martin (who will be born this April) of Cleburne, Texas, sister Amber Thompson of Oakdale, California, brother Scott Faria of Wewoka, Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents David Lee Faria and Laura Gail McDaniel.

A Celebration of Life for Crystal will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Hilltop Freewill Baptist Church in Wewoka, OK with Pastor Sam Ketcher officiating followed by placing her at her final resting place.
