Darlene Francis Hale

Darlene F. (Skidmore) Hale passed away at home Friday, August 14, 2026.

Darlene was born in Plattsburg, NY on July 21, 1958, along with her twin and best friend Debbie. Later Darlene, Debbie and her big bother Charlie moved to Oklahoma City where she graduated from Putnam City High School in 1976. Later, after Darlene attended OSU Okmulgee and O.C.C.C., she married Ken Hale in February 1981. This was followed by the two joys in her life being born, Taylor and Ryan. She was the most devoted and loving mother and was second mother to all her nieces. Darlene loved the Lord, and witnessed to everyone she met, wanting them to experience the same joy she received from Jesus.

Darlene was preceded in death by her big brother Charlie Skidmore.

She is survived by her loving husband Ken, her two sons’, Taylor and Ryan, her best friend and twin, Debbie Posar and (Debbies husband) Robert Posar, their children Melody Godwin, Haleigh Poole, and Charlie’s children, Luke Skidmore and Lindsey Skidmore. She is also survived by her extended family including, Ken’s family, all of her surrogate mothers over the years, her countless friends that considered her family, and all her church families as well. She will be sorely missed by all.
