David Charles Burnell Jr., of Norman, OK, son of the late David Charles Burnell Sr. and Sheila Ferullo, was born on November 6, 1965 in Sacramento, CA and departed this life on January 16, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He was 60.He spent most of his life as a truck driver, a job he loved and was passionate about.Survivors include his wife, Carol Burnell, Norman, OK, three daughters Rachel Otten of Oklahoma, Viola (Kyle) Lawson of Missouri, and Bailey Dowdy of Oklahoma.Grandchildren, Helena Todd, Ivy Dowdy, of Oklahoma, Skylar, Falous, Willow, and Octavia Lawson of Missouri.One brother, Brian (Ann) Burnell, Bowling Green, KY and one sister Kimberly (Terry) Burnell, Union City, Tennessee.Several cherished nieces and nephews also survive. A celebration of life is to come.
