Deborah Ann Young 57, of Seminole, Oklahoma passed from this life on October 7th, 2019. She was born October 27th, 1961 at her grandparent’s home in Georgetown Illinois. Deborah worked as a Driver’s License Examiner for the Dept. of Public Safety for the State of Oklahoma and retired 14 years later due to health failing. She was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University of Charleston Illinois with a bachelor’s degree. She also went to Danville Area Community College graduating with an associate degree. Deb truly loved the Lord and her family and friends. She was a DAR member in Danville Illinois Chapter from Governor Bradford.
Deborah was the daughter of James R. Young of Cayuga, Indiana and the late Mary Loretta Stokes of Konawa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by two brothers, James Allen Young of Georgetown, Illinois, John Richard Young and wife Diana of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; three sisters, Pamela Elliott and Kenny of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Cheryl Young of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Susan Womack and Wes of Seminole, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and greats that called her Gramma Auntie and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Loretta (Stokes) Young and one brother, Robert Wayne Young.
Final resting place will be at Georgetown Illinois in the McKendree Cemetery under the direction of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Our beloved sister and friend will be forever missed. Deb was always thinking of and doing things for her friends and family. When something didn't work out, she would say "oh well" and go on to something else.
