Delores T Marrs

Delores (Hagood) Marrs passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 85 after just recently moving back from Kentucky to be close to family.

Delores was born January 19, 1941, in Norman, Oklahoma to Thomas James and Irene (Patton) Hagood. She graduated from Norman High School in 1958. Delores married William “Billy” Marrs on June 19, 1959, in Norman, OK. They lived in many states over the years and made new friends along the way.

Delores loved the Lord Jesus and enjoyed reading her bible. She liked going to yard and estate sales looking for bargains. She loved working on her jewelry and loved her animals and was very tender to them. Lastly Delores was always eager to meet and talk to new people.

Surviving Delores are her husband of over 67 years, William “Bill” Marrs of the home; son, Robert Marrs of McLoud, OK; daughters, Andrea (Marrs) Crumb of Oklahoma City and Lisa Marrs of Florence, KY; two sisters, Karen Law and Tommie Ann McGee and husband Jim; two half-brothers, Dalen and Bobby McMichael; grandchildren, Ariane (Crumb) Vanosdol, Dallas Marrs, Kera Crumb and Cason Crumb; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; and one daughter, Jennifer Marrs and a sister, Louise Davis.

A private memorial service for Delores will be held at the family home.
