Dena graduated from Konawa High School and attended Oklahoma University. She was a lover of life and service to others. She lived as a short-term missionary traveling to several states serving many Native American communities. She spent many years of her life discipling the youth and teaching Sunday School at Many Springs. Dena was a diligent and faithful employee of the Chickasaw Nation IT Department for 15 years. Her favorite pastimes included making cakes for all occasions, cooking, reading, pulling jokes on her family, traveling for unique food experiences, and hosting bible studies.
