Diana Q. (Quiroz) Márez

Diana Márez was born to Stephen and Carolyn Quiroz on December 31, 1958 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on January 20, 2021 at her home in Oklahoma City.
Diana had moved to Oklahoma at the age of 12. She married in 1976 and had three children. She especially enjoyed being a mother and placed all of her energy and love in to this privilege. Later in life, she finally pursued her passion and studied cosmetology. Diana thoroughly enjoyed making people look and feel beautiful. Her sweet and kind demeanor was something that all of her clients and friends will cherish.
Diana also had a strong desire for pleasing her God, Jehovah, and for sharing her beliefs about the Bible with others. She worked tirelessly in a full-time ministry work even during her first bout with cancer, never allowing her illness to dampen her spirit. One of her greatest joys was becoming “Nana” to her grandchildren. She enjoyed an especially close and loving relationship with them and never had a limit on sleepovers and fun projects.
In 2015, Diana met and married David Márez. They had five wonderful years together full of travel and adventure, especially enjoying times at Disney World with their grandchildren.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Carolyn Quiroz. She is survived by her husband David Márez and four stepchildren, her son Jeshua Graven and his wife Stacie and their daughter Kendal, her son Brandon Graven and his wife Anna and their children, Jackson, Galvan and Collin, her daughter Danielle Sallee and her husband Jared, as well as many nephews and nieces who lovingly referred to her as “Aunt D” and a host of friends who loved her dearly and are eagerly anticipating welcoming her back soon.
