Donald “Donny” Scott Gleason, Jr., longtime Seminole County resident, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Bowlegs at the age of 43.
He was born October 17, 1975 in Albuquerque, NM to Donald Scott Gleason, Sr. and Geraldine (Freer) Gleason. Donny graduated from New Lima High School. He worked as an electrician for several years.
Donny was a very loving and giving person. He loved his children dearly and was always willing to jump in and help anyone that needed anything. Donny loved fast cars, fishing and was a prankster. He always enjoyed making everyone laugh. Donny will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include his spouse, Jaric Gleason of Wewoka; his son, Jake Gleason and fiancée Ashlee Mullen; daughters, Alanna Goodman of Okemah, Hannah Upchurch of Seminole and Brianna Gleason of McLoud; sisters, Jeri Johnson and husband Tony of Maud, Jean Lewis Gleason of Macomb and Maryann Evans of Seminole; brothers, Aron Gleason and wife Amy of Albuquerque, NM and Matthew Gleason of Seminole; mother, Geraldine Gleason of Seminole; father, Donald Gleason, Sr. and wife Teresa of Santa Fe, NM; nephews, Kory Rowe, Jr; Dylan Rowe, Jordan Gleason and Preston Gleason; nieces, Kelsey Attaway, Serina McAnally, Patricia Dallas, Angel Lewis and Charity Gleason and good friend, Mike Lawson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene Freer, Wanda Ann Lewis, John Gleason, Clyde and Mildred Freer; uncle, Matthew Freer and aunt, Kathy Gleason.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Seminole with Curtis “C.D.” Loftis officiating.
