Eric Leroy Holm

March 1, 1967 — January 6, 2019

Eric Leroy Holm died January 6, 2019 in Oklahoma City at the age of 51. Eric was welcome by his dad, Leroy Holm; his brothers, Rory and Matthew Holm and a host of family and friends that have gone before him to help him along the way. Eric was survived by his parents, Donna and Charles Waddle; sisters, Tanya Lee (McCormick) and husband Howard and Sonya Dee (Witt) and husband Robert and step-brother, Chuck Waddle and wife Linda. He has 16 nieces and nephews and 19 great-nieces and great-nephews or as he more commonly called them “his kids”.

Eric graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1985. He had a working career from Oklahoma to Indiana to Texas and returned back home to Oklahoma to take care of his parents. He had a career creating lasting friendships at work, play and taking care of his family.

His favorite things to do were fishing, spending time with family and friends, playing in the dirt, collecting rocks, playing the odds and aggravating mom! Like the Oklahoma wind, Eric touched so many lives. It may have been only for a brief moment or tender lasting space in time, but each life was changed for the better. Eric loved life. He would do anything to help another. Not only did he touch so many, but his life was shaped and molded by those who entered his life. Eric has left us here to carry on his legacy by his example to have a REMARKABLE LIFE.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 9 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 100 N. Indian Meridian in Choctaw.
