Ernestine Marrie Carr

On December 18, 1960, a beautiful baby girl was born to Elizabeth McNeal & Richard McKinney, along with Earnest & Delores Carr. The name given to this gift from God was Ernestine Marrie Carr but to her family she was known as “Puddin”.

Ernestine Carr, beloved mother of Tiffany Woods, Clemmie Cunningham, Jr., and Wyleah Carr took flight and was welcomed to the precious land of glory on July 9, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Puddin accepted Christ at an early age. She was full of spirit, enjoying life; you could catch her at the casino trying to hit a “ big one”, spending time traveling, and thrifting with her cousins Michelle Morrow & Marla Smith.

She worked for many years as a public safety officer. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren; Clemmie Cunningham, III, Hudson Henderson, and Autummn Cunningham-Johnson.

Puddin is survived by: her mother Delores; daughters Tiffany(Marcus) and Wyleah, son Clemmie Jr; grandchildren Clemmie III, Hudson, Autummn; Siblings Earnest (Nanette) Carr, Eula Carr, Edwin (Kyra) Carr, Elois Carr, Richard McKinney, Brian McKinney, & Melannie Osborne and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by Earnest, Elizabeth, and Richard.

A Visitation for Ernestine will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM at OK Cremation Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services for Ernestine will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 1:00 PM at OK Cremation Funeral Home Chapel.

The repass we be held directly following the service at Nick Harroz Community Center 200 N Midwest Blvd. Midwest City, OK 73110.
