Francis "Frank" P. Sutton, Jr.

Francis “Frank” Sutton Jr.  passed away peacefully in his home on August 3, 2023.

Frank was born December 29, 1935, in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Francis P. Sutton and Beatrice I. Beasley Sutton. As a “Junior”, he was known by the nickname “Sonny” to his family and friends.

Frank graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1962 and earned a Masters of Health Sciences from Southwest Texas State University in 1980.  Frank, a registered pharmacist, was presented the Gold Certificate Award by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy for being a registered and practicing pharmacist for 50 years.

Frank spent most of his adult life in Texas; living in Waco, Texas then Harlingen, Texas after retirement.  Frank developed an interest in woodworking and spent many hours making beautiful wood bowls. Frank moved to Mustang Oklahoma in 2015.  Frank enjoyed playing cards and socializing with others prior to his declining health.

Frank is survived by his three children Terry Ray Sutton (Robbie Sutton), Debra Elaine Sutton, and Sherlyn Kelly Sutton Conlan; his 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia (Pat) Bucy Sutton; and his siblings Thomas Richard Sutton, Patsy Jean Sutton, and Lonnie Wayne Sutton.
