Helen Janice Allgood

Helen Janice Allgood, 67, passed away peacefully in her home on September 20, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of a life well lived.

Born on April 22, 1959, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Helen was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and a beautiful soul whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of those around her.

Helen built a beautiful life alongside her husband, Carl Wayne Allgood Jr., whom she loved and shared 47 years of marriage with. Their life together was filled with love, family, hard work, and countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Helen spent much of her life working as a waitress and caring for her family as a homemaker. Her greatest joys were found in raising her three children, supporting her husband, Junior, and helping him train greyhounds and care for the farms. She poured her heart into her family and home, creating a lifetime of memories that will be cherished for generations.

Helen was known for her loving and kind heart, her outgoing personality, her beauty, and her intelligence. Above all, she was a wonderful mother who loved her children deeply. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through them.

She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Wayne Allgood Jr. "Junior" of Mangum, Oklahoma; Her three beloved children Christy Lynn Bechtel and her husband, Jarred, and their two children Zoey and Asher of Mangum, Oklahoma; Carl Ray Allgood and his wife, Layla, and their three children Jonathan, Carl Jack and Alethea of Mangum, Oklahoma; and Cynthia Ann Brooks with her husband, Brady, and their three children Remington, Roper and River of Granite, Oklahoma.

Helen's passing leaves a space in the hearts of her family and friends that can never truly be filled. Though she may no longer be here with us, her love, laughter, kindness, and the countless memories she created will remain forever. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and cherished always.
