Herman Henry Featherstone

Herman H. Featherstone was the youngest of four children born to Herschel and Maggie Featherstone.

He made his entrance unto this world on July 3, 1941 and made his final transition on November 12, 2019.

Mother, father, one brother, Billy Featherstone, one sister, Doris Brison, and one daughter, Carmen De’Ann, all preceded him in death.

He graduated from Douglas High School and entered into the US Navy. He retired from the US Navy and went to work with the US Naval Firefighters of San Diego, CA. He retired in 1994 and relocated to Oklahoma City where he remained until his death.

Herman had a profound love for music. He spent hours listening, writing and playing jazz. He had an extensive guitar collection that he was very fond of.

He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Brian Featherstone (Katherine), daughter, Cheryl Denise McDade (Rod), grandchildren, great grandson, sister, Dorothy and a very special niece, Shirley Ann Cole.  He also leaves many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will continue to celebrate his life.
