Howard "Howdy" Lynn Wiley

September 17, 1953 — April 3, 2019

Howard (Howdy) Lynn Wiley of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away in a tragic single car accident at the age of 65 in S.E. Logan County.

He was born in Oklahoma City on Sept. 17, 1953 and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1972. After graduating, he and his wife moved to S.E. Logan County, where they continued to raise their family. He started his own company, Howdy and Son Home Improvement, where he restored historic homes that were mostly in Heritages Hills until retiring.

Howdy was very easy going with a great personality and would help anyone in need. He was kind and big hearted. He would definitely talk to anyone and make them laugh and once you met Howdy Doody you would never forget him.

He loved to watch football, wrestling, Nascar, and old westerns as well as playing pool, video games, and posting to Facebook.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jo (McLeod) Wiley, daughter, Sabrina and her husband Chris Horn, and his precious granddaughter, Breanna Linn Horn. His siblings include Mike & Cindy Wiley, Wanda Monaco, Cheri & Mark Oertel; as well as very special in-laws Butch & Diana McLeod and their children, Josh and Nicole, and Liza Shaw. He had many nieces & nephews and numerous special family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son Erik Allen Wiley (1981-2000) and his parents, Francis Leonard & Doris Allene Wiley.

We love you and miss you.
