James Edward Owens, Jr.

James Edward “Jimmy” Owens, Jr. passed away Sunday January 18, 2015 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 47.
He was born December 5, 1967 in Oklahoma City, OK to James Edward Owens and Evelyn (Davis).
Jimmy worked in a variety of fields for several years including working as the Head of Accounts Payable and Receivable Department for Haskell Lemon Construction. He then went on to work as a customer service representative for AOL and Cox Communications. Jimmy finally ended up in the job he loved doing the most, bartending and managing local neighborhood bars.
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Evelyn Sanchez; one brother, Alan Owens; sisters, Jamie Smith, Shelly Owens and Alicia Sanchez; nieces, Shawna Holly, Angelica Aguilera; nephews, Eric Smith, Taj Holloway, Christian Aguilera, Tyrek Holloway; great niece, Emma Holly; great nephews, Vladamyr Smith, Vincynt Smith and Arlo Holly and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM at OK Cremation and Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Peter Miller officiating.
Services are under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
