Janis "Gail" (Traywick) White

Janis Gail (Traywick) White, 73 years old of Chickasha Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:05 am Wednesday Dec. 06, 2017. Graveside services will be held at Memorial Lane Cemetery in Anadarko on Saturday December 9th at 2 pm.

Gail was born Oct. 28th, 1944 in Oxford, Alabama to Andrew Jackson (Jack) Traywick, and Velma (Duke) Traywick.   She moved to Oklahoma at a young age.  She attended the Anadarko Schools.  On Oct 13th 1962 Gail married Robert White of Anadarko.  Gail and Robert raised 5 sons, Robert Jr, Ronnie, Chris, Dennis, and Jeff.

Gail ran a daycare center for years and went to work as a cook at the middle school in Anadarko for approx... 10 years.  She and Robert moved to Ft Worth, TX in 1987.  Gail worked as a baker for Coburn Catering. They moved to Chickasha in 1994 and started G and R Cutters, a cutting factory that made western clothes for 3 years.  She then went to work at the Wonder Bread Outlet Store in Chickasha for 10 1/2 years until she retired to help raise her Grandchildren. Gail was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Anadarko, OK. She loved to cook and enjoyed all her kids and grandkids. She loved to make Christmas candy for the entire family. She loved her two Maltese dogs that stayed by her side for the last 10 years. She battled multiple myeloma cancer for the past 5 ½ years and she was the most loving, kind, and strongest person that never let the chemo or the cancer get her down. She fought hard until the very end. She will be missed by everyone that she knew.

Gail is preceded in death by her Dad and Mom, brother Monty Traywick and sister Lovetta Kidd, Grandsons RJ and CJ, Great-grandson Andrew, and 2 Great-granddaughters.

Gail is survived by her Husband Robert White of Chickasha, brother Jackie Traywick of Anadarko, sister Lydia Barnett of Cyril, her sons Robert Jr and wife Tammy of Chickasha, son Ronnie of Fort Worth, TX, son Chris and wife Teffany of Azle, TX, son Dennis and wife Christi of Kyle, TX, son Jeff of Chickasha, 15 grandchildren, 5 Great-grandchildren, brother and sister in-law Gary and Barbara Edwards of Chickasha, sister in-law Juanita White of Whitesettlement, TX, brother and sister in-law Art and Lynda White of Pensacola, FL, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
