Jennifer Alice Castillo

March 31, 1962 — December 2, 2025

Oklahoma City

Jennifer Alice Castillo, born to George Castillo & Ardina Tsotigh-Miller, on March 31st, 1962, at the Clinton Indian Hospital and crossed over surrounded by her loving family, on December 2nd, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She grew up in Anadarko & Redstone and was known by the nickname of Jip, which was her preferred name.

She was a hard worker thought out her life, but she was especially proud of her devoted career at Walmart, where she retired after 25+ years.

She had several passions in life. She loved family gatherings, mainly with her kids and her dad. Loved festively decorating for the holidays (almost to Griswold extremes). Loved cheering for her 49ers and OU Sooners. Loved camping at the lake for days, and she really loved making home videos, so she could direct everyone how to look and act! She was a great bead worker, and loved her oldies music. Fried chicken, mac & cheese, and kidney gravy were just some of her specialty dishes, treasured by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Castillo & Ardina Tsotigh-Miller and one brother, Timothy Castillo, grandparents Antonio & Guadalupe Castillo, Edward & Jenny Tsotigh, and Frank & Ada Chanate.

Survived by her daughter Venus Owings, son Santana Owings, grandchildren DeKayla, Makayla, Grayson, Kayson, Jerria, Tobias, Evaree, Taniah, & Simeon, great grandson Ezariah, brothers Tony, Frank, & Mike Castillo, sisters Theresa Castillo-Harman & Annette Castillo, close nieces Julie DuFur, Neeci Castillo, & Mimi Jackson, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. She also loved her loyal dog and companion, Brody, and gifted two angels to the world.
