Jerry Elaine (Shumate) Roach

Jerry Elaine Roach resident of Moore Ok died peacefully January 12, 2017, in her home. Born February 26, 1943 in Okc. She married Ronald Roach in 1961 and they moved to California to raise their children. Recently Jerry moved back to her roots in Ok to live with her sons. Jerry loved the arts, performing and visual. She often took her grandchildren to see plays as a special outing. Her love for the visual arts was realized through her paintings and she took several college courses to further her talent. She was also passionate about travel. With her Red Hat group she got to visit many cities and countries. Jerry is survived by her sons, David Roach, married to Cheryl Wilmot-Roach. David's children are Jason Roach, Danny Lee Roach, Jacy Roach-Hooper and husband Johnathon, and Rebecca Roach. Danny Joe Roach, married to Maria Roach their children are Paige Christian, married to Chris Christian, Jimmy Grob, Spencer Grob, Steven Roach and John Roach. Dale Roach married to Traci Roach their children are Holli Roach, Troy Roach, married to Justine Roach, Brooke Roach and Rylee Roach. Her nieces Destiny Mollison, Cherish Counts, married to Chris Counts, Marissa Pease and nephew Jimmy Pease. Great grand children are: Demarcus Hooper, Bella Roach, Devotion Hooper and Camden Roach Great nieces and nephews are: Christopher Counts, Presley Moldinado, Josie Counts, Molly Wyrick, and Wyatt Counts.

Internment will be held at the Anaheim Cemetery in Anaheim, California on January 26, 2017 at 12:00 P.M.
