Jerry D. Thrower, 81, passed away on 6/2/21 in Oklahoma City.
Jerry had a very kind heart and was always ready to help. He was a great son, brother, uncle, family man, and friend to all. He proudly served his country in the Armed Forces. He had many interests including bible study, coaching sports and was involved with the NW Classen Alumni. Jerry was a talented athlete & participated in the senior Olympics as a pole vaulter in his late 50s and started Jiu-Jitsu in his 70s. He was a renaissance man!
Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Paulette Thrower, his son Jeff, his grandson Mitchell Robinson and his brothers Ron and Larry Thrower.
He is survived by his wife Carol Thrower and her family, and his children, Stacy & Kevin Robinson, Brad & Cynthia Thrower, Steve Thrower & granddaughter, Haley Robinson, her husband, Justin Shaw & great grandson, Oscar Mitchell Shaw. He is also survived by one brother, Ken Thrower and his wife Nancy and a host of other family and friends.
