Joseph Anderson

Joseph "Joe" Anderson was born June 24th, 1956, in Duncan, OK. He lost his battle with cancer on November 1, 2026. Joe moved often as a child but considered Lawton, OK, to be his hometown. He lived most of his adult life with his wife of 42 years, Renee, in Oklahoma City.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Overton “Andy” Anderson and mother-in-law, Claire (Demers) Teague. In addition to Renee, he is survived by his mother, Doris (Cardwell) Anderson; his brother, Clark; and his sister, Carol. He also leaves behind three children, W. John Lindstom, Amanda Anderson, and William Anderson; two daughters-in-law, Tiffany Lindstrom and Hillary Dennisen; six grandchildren, Vera-Marie Bonds, D. Chase Lindstrom, Courtny Lindstrom, Joshua Stepp, Jaylynn Stepp, and Morgan Lindstrom. He is also survived by many friends who became family along his journey in life.

Joe loved music and could often be found at concerts in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Dallas, and Fort Worth. The family asks that you to remember him by going to a concert, buying a CD, and supporting local music.
