Joyce Estelle Brown

Joyce Estelle Brown was born to Robert and Myrtle Wright in Dover, New Hampshire on June 9, 1945. She passed peacefully on April 29, 2025 surrounded by loving family.

Her legacy lives on through her four children and their families - Lora and Shelby McDonald of Oklahoma, Amber and Jason Sparks of North Carolina, Allen and Kim Brown of Florida, and Jody and Scott Watkins of Ohio. Joyce is also remembered by her 6 grandchildren and their families, including 2 great grandchildren, as well as her older sister, Sheilah Leitch, and brother-in-law, Leo Blood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her older sister Judy Blood, and brother-in-law Loren (Lori) Leitch.

Joyce loved to talk about her early years on the East Coast, her love for her dad and his art, her kids’ shenanigans, hair styling, and her dogs.

She was a witty, strong, independent lady but more importantly she was a loving Mom, Nanna, and Nanna G.
