Judy M. (Brock) Patten

September 4, 1944 — April 8, 2017

Judy M. Patten, lifelong Pottawatomie County and Macomb area resident, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at her residence in Macomb at the age of 72.

Judy was born September 4, 1944 in Shawnee, OK to Claude and Mary (Husky) Brock. She graduated from Macomb High School.

Judy married Charles Covel and to this union were three daughters and one son. She later married Willis “Bud” Patten and they were together for over 22 years.

Judy drove a truck for many years with her husband Charles. She later went to work for Central Plastics in Shawnee and was there for 17 years.

Judy loved coaching her daughters in softball and also cheer and was also active in the local PTA. She also loved going to bible study at church.

Judy is survived by her husband Bud of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Cinda Covel of Arcadia, Lori and Bryan Clemens of Shawnee and Mary and Jay Benton of Shawnee; son, Charles A. Covel of Macomb; step-daughter, Debra Tucker and her husband Scott of Tecumseh; two brothers, Jim Brock of Shawnee and Randy Brock of Macomb; sisters, Molly Henderson of Ponca City, OK; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of other extended family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Mary Brock; one step-son, Mike Patten; two brothers, Jerry and Bob Brock; one sister, Shirley Sisney and one great-granddaughter, Jadyn Faith Carnes.
