Karen Alene (Shelton) Benham

Memorial services for longtime Mustang resident Karen Alene Benham will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at OK Cremation and Funeral Home Chapel in Oklahoma City with Sam Turnbow officiating. Karen passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 70.
She was born August 11, 1946 in Seminole, Texas to Elmer George and Hazel (Stroud) Shelton.
Karen married Stephen Benham and he survives her of the home.
Mom was a very strong Christian woman. She loved her daily morning bible studies. She enjoyed sitting around her kitchen table drinking coffee and having good conversation. She really enjoyed her evening routine of snacks and TV shows with Dad. She really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grand babies.
She is also survived by one son, Paul and wife Teri; daughters, Michelle and husband Robert, Shari and Jennifer; her brothers, Ron Luttrell, Gary Shelton and Michael Hill; grandchildren, Courtney Brown, Sean Brown, Ryan Brown, Cole Brown, Jonathon Reece, Matthew Reece; eight great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Cheryl Mannen.
Services are under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
