Karen Lynn (Weatherford) Burch

Karen Lynn (Weatherford) Burch, Marietta, Oklahoma area resident, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 in Marietta at the age of 71.

Karen was born November 15, 1951 in Waco, Texas to Herschel Fred Weatherford and Hazel Alma (Ellis). She married Michael “Mike” Burch on November 15, 1990.

Karen was known for her love of making clothes for her girls. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and doodle art. She loved to ride the same back roads along with her soulmate, Mike. She never went anywhere without the love of her life. Even in death, they could not part. Karen was loved by many.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea and Allan Hemphill of Whitney, TX, Delores and Mike Lamb of Marietta, OK and Samantha and Michael Brooker of Novice, TX; brothers, Doyle Lee Bryan of McGregor, TX, Larry Weatherford of Rogers, AR and John Weatherford of Brownwood, TX; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

May Mike and Karen rest in peace until we all meet again.
