Karen Diane Nichols

Our beloved mother, Karen Diane Nichols, is survived by her only daughter Tanya, 3 sons Phill, Robert, Darin. Grandchildren Eric, Alyssa, Nikki, Chase, and Ryan. 5 dogs and 2 turtles.

Mom had many careers during her life, though her two favorites were working as a sheriff deputy in Yuma, where she helped build the county's first 911 system and the 5 years she spent working in Florida at a Rape Crisis Spouse Abuse Center.

She loved frogs, dogs - especially pugs - and the color purple. She enjoyed arts & crafts, outings with the family, spending time with friends at the day center and fireworks.

There is not a moment that Mom isn't thought about. She'll truly be missed by many! A saying I know of *Together forever, Never apart, Maybe in distance but Never in Heart*
