Kathryn Mary (Barker) Eldridge

On Friday July 26, 2019, Kathryn Eldridge, loving wife, mother of three, and grandmother of one passed away at the age of 64.

Kathryn was born on May 17, 1955 in Osaka, Japan to AJ and Bessie Barker. After spending her earliest years all over the world, she came home to Oklahoma where she grew up. On December 10, 1973 she began a 45-year marriage to the love of her life, Mark Eldridge. They raised three sons, Jonathan, Michael, and Kevin.

Kathryn loved the Lord. She enjoyed reading, needlepoint, fashion, music, and writing poetry. She was also an animal lover, having cared for a number of cats and dogs over the years.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her father, AJ, and mother, Bessie. She is survived by her husband Mark, three children, Jonathan, Michael, and Kevin, her granddaughter Emerie, her sister Jean, brothers Ed, Phillip, and James, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 3rd, 2019 at Grace Community Baptist Church 10901 S Santa Fe Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73170 at 1 o’clock p.m.
