Lakisha Holloway, affectionately known as “Kisha,” was born on August 28, 1981, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and departed this life far too soon on June 16, 2025, in Spencer, Oklahoma.
Kisha was the cherished daughter of Iris Holloway and William Holloway Jr. She was one of eleven siblings, lovingly surrounded by Teresa Wilson, April Nelms-Holloway, Dina Holloway, B.J. Holloway, Jason Holloway, Jasmine Howard, Ismael Holloway, Esmeralda Holloway, Elda Holloway, and Nicole Holloway.
Kisha’s proudest role in life was being a devoted mother to her three children: Antwan “TJ” Stubbs Jr., Nikkiya Holloway, and Keishaun Goodman. She also found deep joy in her role as “Sweets” to her grandson Monté Stubbs—and was excitedly awaiting the arrival of twin grandchildren.
A proud graduate of Douglass High School, Class of 2000—the Mighty Trojans, the pride of the Eastside—Kisha carried that same Trojan spirit through every part of her life. For over 18 years, she worked faithfully at Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma Inc., and also dedicated her weekends to Ross, where her strong work ethic and warm personality touched many.
If you knew Kisha, then you knew. She loved deeply, and her heart belonged to her family—especially her children and grandchildren. Her presence lit up every room, and her energy could turn an ordinary moment into a full-blown celebration. Even if she showed up late, once Kisha arrived, the party truly began.
Her laughter, her loyalty, and her unforgettable spirit will remain with us forever.
Kisha’s legacy of love, laughter, and strength lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
