Lawrence Dale Hacker, longtime Mustang area resident, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon at the age of 82.
He was born October 31, 1937 in Minco, Oklahoma to James Irvin and Iva May (Mitchum) Hacker. Lawrence married Shirley Hacker on October 19, 1962 in Oklahoma City. He was a truck driver for over 49 years working for Lee-Way Trucking for almost 20 years and Hahn's Trucking and was also an owner/operator as well. Lawrence enjoyed going to car races, casinos, and traveling with his family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his wife Shirley on October 7, 2018; his parents; three sisters, Betty Moore, Loretta Perkins and Anola Mearkle and two brothers, Warren Hacker and Eugene Hacker.
He is survived by one daughter, Michele Andrzejewski and husband Martin; son, Roger Hacker and wife Debbie; one granddaughter, Amanda; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Ryan; five sisters, Peg George, Freda Landers, Erma Ramson, Sandra Finch and Nancy Cornell; one brother, Leroy Hacker and a host of other family and friends.
