Lawrence Williams, 74, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2026. He was born on August 4, 1951, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Lawrence’s life was defined by his strong work ethic, steady presence, and the way he showed care through actions rather than words. Though not one to openly express affection often, he demonstrated generosity and compassion by opening his home to others, helping many get back on their feet during difficult times.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose reliability and practical kindness left a lasting impact on those who knew him. Lawrence had a passion for woodworking and found peace riding his motorcycle, tending to his garden and chickens, and working on projects in his shop—places where he felt most at home.
Lawrence shared almost 42 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marvetta Williams, building a life grounded in commitment, resilience, and family.
He retired from Order-Matic Electronics, where he worked for many years and took pride in his dedication and craftsmanship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Roy Williams; his brother, Paul Williams; and his son, Matthew Williams.
Lawrence is survived by his loving wife, Marvetta Williams; his children, daughters Alysia (Jared) McDaniel and Nikki Williams, and sons Kevin (Vicki) and Craig Williams; his sister, Sara Ledbetter of Arkansas; and many cherished grandchildren, along with other loving family.
Lawrence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
