Leon Emerson Garr

Leon Emerson Garr passed away on June 29, 2025, at his home in Jones, Oklahoma at the age of 91.

Leon was born in Yale, Oklahoma on May 16, 1934, to Raymond F. & Mable Garr. He served the United States Army between 1955 and 1957. Leon retired as a truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his wife Beth Garr, parents Raymond & Mable Garr, brothers Lee & Ray “Butch” Garr, and sister Edith Staley.

Surviving Children, Spouses, Aunt, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Karen Garr, Mary Lou, Christi Garr, Mike Carney & Carol Garr, Kelly & Josh Haskins, Isaiah, Julianna & Noah Haskins, Justin, Ben & Brooklyn Weaver, David & Teresa Garr, Dustin & Mikella Garr, Nathan Garr, Cooper Garr, Russell & Morgann Garr, Westyn Garr, and Walker Garr. He will be missed by all that knew him.
