Leslie Dale Delclef was born in Oakland, California on March 3, 1952 to Roy and Bettie Miers. Leslie married Harry Delclef, Jr. on June 28, 1975 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Leslie attended business school in San Francisco, California and later received her certification in church business administration at Emory University. Leslie began her business career as a bookkeeper for Southern Leather Company. In 1984 Leslie became the office administrator for Southern Hills United Methodist Church. In 2000 she became the office administrator for Skyline Urban Ministries where she stayed until early retirement in 2009.
Leslie‘s early hobbies included distance running and fishing with Harry. As the years went by their hobbies changed to less strenuous activities like antiquing. Leslie also enjoyed needlepointing.
Leslie is survived by husband, Harry Delclef Jr; daughter, Tree Perkins and partner Kasey Kelley, daughter, Tanya Reitan and husband Eric Reitan; son, Yuichi Ui; elder sister, Suzanne Darwish; sister-in-law, Edna Sadr, Linda and Jim Miller, Gwen and Ron Stafford, Max and Theresa Delclef, George and Monica Delclef, Lenny and Tonya Delclef and grandchildren, Loren Sexton, Luke Currier, and Evan and Izzie Reitan and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Memorial services will be held on October 22, 2019 at 2 PM at New Life United Methodist Church, 1105 NW. 27th St., Moore, OK
