Leslie Ann Stromberg, April 30, 1929 – May 26, 2015 Leslie, 86, died May 26, 2015, at her home in Guthrie, OK.  Leslie was born in Carthage, MO, then her family moved to Kansas City during WWII where she graduated high school in 1947.  Leslie worked for Hallmark Company for several years in the Store Support Division until she moved to Warrensburg, MO, where she began clerical work at Whiteman Air Force Base.  She then transferred to Offutt Air Force Base in NE and was sent for computer programming training.  Throughout her career with the air force she received several commendations for her excellent work.  In 1959 she was introduced to Lt. Ron Stromberg, her future husband, and they were married in 1961 at Randolph Air Force Base, TX.  Their first assignment together was at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, AZ, where in 1969 they adopted their daughter, Greta. Leslie was a devoted wife and mother.  She was active in all the churches she attended throughout her life and especially enjoyed working in the church nursery.  At the time of her death, Leslie was a member of Grace Bible Church.  Ron and Leslie were assigned to various bases in the US until they retired in 1979 and moved to OK.  Leslie is survived by her husband Ron and daughter, Greta, and a myriad of nieces and nephews who played a significant role in her life. Memorial services will be held at Grace Bible Church, 10301 Lakeside Drive, Oklahoma City, at 3:00 pm, May 30, 2015. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Wounded Warrior Project in her name or the name of a special veteran or wounded warrior of your choosing.

Arrangements are under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home.
