She is survived by her sons Irvin (Carma) Essary, David (Chris) Essary, Leon (Ginger) Lane, daughter Angala Smith, sister Judy Baughn, and many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
Joy is preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Essary, son Henry Jefferys, a brother, and two sisters.
She will be missed by all that knew her.
