Mark Robert Schroeder

Mark was born and raised in Parma, Ohio. As a child and teen, he and his brother spent lots of time tinkering with things, like building a go kart, building and jumping ramps on their bikes, pretending to be electric lineman and climbing the basement posts, and swapping motors in his truck.

Mark was drawn to the outdoors and the farm and country life. He became a farrier, loved horses and horse racing and dreamed of owning a racehorse with his daughter, Lexi, to race together. He loved boating on Lake Erie.

When the family moved to Oklahoma, Mark became a Police Officer and was proud to serve and help people in his community. Later, he worked at Urban Lawn and Landscaping and found deep connections and relationships with his boss, Jeff and all his coworkers. They all had a big impact on each other and Mark was known to always be helping others, striking up conversations with customers and coworkers alike, he was smart and shared his knowledge with others. After each morning huddle time, he said, “Be safe out there” to the team. He also had a love of McDonald’s coffee. He loved thrift store and estate sale finds.

Although Mark went through many difficult years, he loved his family and rediscovered a deep faith in God as he wrote about his mission and purpose in lifeand his deep love for family.

He is survived by his daughters, Lexi (Ryan) Baldwin, and Kayla Schroeder (Cort), his son, Jonah Pelton and his 3 beautiful grandchildren, Paisley and Josiah Baldwin and Emett Chappell. He has been preceded in death by his Grandson, Elijah. He is also survived by his parents, Robert and Marcia Schroeder and brother, David (Mary Jo) Schroeder and his former wife, Lisa, along with many nieces and nephews and extended family.
