Marvin "Darrell" Janko

M. Darrell Janko, age 68, of Yukon, OK, passed away February 17, 2021, while battling cancer.

Born in Richmond, CA, on March 30, 1952, he grew up in Moore, OK, and graduated from Moore High School.  He retired from Rexam, as a machinist, and his company, Janko Home Inspections. Darrell was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, son, mentor, and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, water skiing, and biking. He was our family historian.  Connecting with family was very important to him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Janko, Jr.; his wife, Lynn Janko; and grandson, Dusan Salami.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Janko; his wife, Vicki; son, Shamus; daughter, Jacinda Lisa Salami and son-in-law Nassir; granddaughters, McKenzie, Kelsey, Madalyn, and Gabrielle; great granddaughter, Blakely; sister, Charlotte Fulks and brother-in-law, Adis; brother, Conrad Janko; among many other beloved family members and friends.

Memorial donations in memory of Darrell Janko may be made to the Oklahoma Blood Institute.
