Michael Dale Richard was the third son born to Melvin and Melba Richard on May 15, 1965, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Michael started school at MLK Elementary. He attended Capitol Hill Middle School and finished his education at Southeast High School.

Michael enlisted into the Army. After returning home he began cooking at Krispy Kings Chicken on N.E. 36th & Prospect. He held several jobs and he was great at them all! He enjoyed meeting and talking to people. 

Michael had a servant’s heart. 

He loved his family and showed it daily. 

He enjoyed cooking, smoking meat & playing bingo, he loved to dress & smell good. Later in Michael’s life he had a passion for landscaping which he did very well.

Preceding him in death are his parents Melvin & Melba Richard; brother Gearld, sisters Carol & Monita, his brother-in-law Marion, daughter Margo, son Eric.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Lisa, his daughter Makayla. Michael also reared several children who also will cherish his memory: Braylen, Kendril, Derrick, Lamale, Rico, Tashia, Roneshia, Stevonna, grandchildren; Aniyah, Amya, Natalia, Keijuan, Corinthian, Messiah, Jazzie, Alisa, Rebecca, Rionna, Rico Jr., Romelo, Mackenzie (baby cotton). 

Sister Janice (Denny), brothers Marcus, Mark, Melvin, Shannon, Shawn, Broderick, Dangelio. 

A host of Uncles, Aunties, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Special Acknowledgement: To our niece and nephew Dawnique & Nathan, the love you showed your uncle will always be the best memories anyone will have.

The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to: Baptist Hospital 5th Floor Step Down ICU, Dr. Boggs & Staff in ICU, Baptist Hospice House, Ms. Shelly, Ms. Holly & Staff.
