Nadine Ferrier

Nadine Ferrier passed away on November 5, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 91.

Nadine was born on September 27, 1932, to Curtis & Ollie Mae Loveless in Byars, Oklahoma. On March 9, 1953, Nadine married Sylvester “Sy” M. (Parker) Ferrier in El Reno, Oklahoma. In 1963, they moved to St. Louis, Missouri. She worked for Aviation Systems Command as a Data Processor. In 1974, she completed a CEU program at The University of Missouri, which was for Federally employed women. Between 1975 and 1981, Nadine attended Webster College and St. Louis Community College for CEU classes in Management and Business. She was all about continuing her education until her retirement in 1989. Nadine and Sy moved back to Oklahoma in 1990 to be with her family and loved ones. On May 1, 1998 Sy passed away after 45 years of marriage.

She enjoyed going to the theatre, traveling to different countries, going on cruises, but above all she loved ballroom dancing.

Nadine is preceded in death by her husband Sylvester “Sy” Marion (Parker) Ferrier, son Ricky Keith Ferrier, grandchildren Dusty Lee & Dwaine Richard Carrillo, parents Curtis W. & Ollie Mae (Kelly) Loveless, brothers James Richard, Curtis Lee, and Paul Dean Loveless, sisters Norma Louise & Wanda Jean Loveless, as well as many other friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her son Danny W. (Rita) Carrillo of Newcastle, Oklahoma, stepson Archie “David” Gordon of Moore, Oklahoma, 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Nadine was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, a best friend, and mentor. She will be missed and always loved.
