Nona Eileen (Holt) Swan

Nona Eileen (Holt) Swan, longtime Oklahoma City resident, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her home at the age of 90.
She was born January 10, 1927 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Hobart and Gladys (Wolverton) Holt. Nona worked at Page Milk Company in Coffeyville and as an operator at a telephone company. She married Carl W. Swan on May 10, 1948 in Bartlesville, OK and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2015. Nona was a loving wife and homemaker for many years.
Survivors include one step-son, Jerry Novakowski; grandchildren, Jeb Stuart Swan, Thomas Swan, Derrick Novakowski, Joy Novakowski Hilburn, Kathryn Novakowski Rosser, Kristin Novakowski and Chase Novakowski; one sister, Joanne Bromley; great grandchildren, Nona Swan and Brooklyn Swan; daughter-in-law, Elaine Swan-Narcomey and Georgie Narcomey and a host of other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Mark Swan on Sept. 19, 2015.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Edmond.
